Celebration

Year after year come the birthdays -
But, where are those rhythms, and
Where are all those known faces?

Gone are the days of joy and jollity -
All around we see gloom and darkness
Spreading over the mornings and the evenings
Choking life !
Why so ?
The heart cries out for some light -
The light emerging from a song of life -
A song with a tune full of liveliness
To bring fresh zeal and enthusiasm to all
And with that enlightenment,

We will then celebrate the birthdays
With a feeling of victory over all odds!
